Hi, I’m Tai Queen—a licensed cosmetologist, beauty educator, and the creator of The Blueprint.
My career in the beauty industry has allowed me to experience cosmetology from both sides of the classroom. As a beauty professional and educator, I’ve seen how much work students put into completing cosmetology school—and how overwhelming the next step can feel when it’s time to prepare for State Board.
Instead of graduates piecing together random study materials, taking practice questions without knowing where they need improvement, or simply hoping they’re ready, I wanted to create a preparation system with structure, direction, and a clear goal.
The Blueprint is the resource I believe graduates deserve after finishing cosmetology school: a plan for what comes next.
